Fancy a snoop around my house? PLUS Event news

Well, here's your chance - in the new issue of Red (july), on sale now, I subject myself to the This Life slot. And, honestly, I had no idea what I was letting myself in for. I am full of renewed respect - not to mention sympathy - for all the women (authors, actresses, singers, designers, Red's Hot Women judges, and, er, me!) who have put themselves through it.

You can read the interview with me at right now, but the full set of pictures are exclusively in the magazine. And as an extra treat, the one here - of me bribing our mog, Shinobi, to play nice for the photographer for just five minutes - isn't featured anywhere else. Other than on my fridge door.

Oh, and one other thing. I will be doing a Red Network event at London's the Hospital Club on June 21st with the lovely supermodel-turned-chef, and presenter of BBC2's Baking Made Easy, Lorraine Pascal and Sarah Walters, founder of We'll be talking about how we turned our passions into a pay day and helping you do the same. Maybe see you there?
